ORD2026-002 ORD2026-002 for a Code Amendment to Chapter 22 - Businesses, Article VI, of the Smyrna Code of Ordinances, Tattoo Establishments, Section 22-242 regarding the requirements for processing applications for Tattoo Establishments licenses and appeals for application denials and Section 22-244 regarding suspension and revocation of Tattoo Establishments licenses and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents. Citywide Mike Jones, City Administrator, provided the following background: This amendment incorporates standard requirements for processing applications for Tattoo Establishments licenses and appeals for application denials, as well as the procedure required for suspension and revocation of Tattoo Establishments licenses. Councilmember Travis Lindley made a motion to approve item ORD2026-002; seconded by Councilmember Charles Welch. The motion to approve carried with the following vote: Aye: 7 – Councilmember Pickens, Councilmember Hines, Councilmember Lindley, Councilmember Welch, Councilmember Wilkinson, Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Gould, Councilmember Oglesby Nay: 0 – None Recuse: 0 – None H. ORD2026-003 ORD2026-003 for a Code Amendment to Chapter 22- Businesses, Article VII, of the Smyrna Code of Ordinances, Bail Bondsmen, Section 22-296 regarding the requirements for processing applications for bail bondsman certificates and Section 22-297 regarding appeals of application denials and suspension and revocation of bail bondsman certificates and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
