• He attended for the first time an adaptive power soccer tournament at the 
Community Center. Five teams of five were represented, and they compete in 
wheelchairs. It was a great experience. 
• There were St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in downtown this past weekend, and 
those events continue through tomorrow. 
• This Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Community Center there is a South 
Cobb public information session. It addresses the area from Concord to Windy Hill.

6.  Proclamations and Presentations 
 
 A. Recognition of Post Season Accomplishments for the Campbell Spartans High School 
Wrestling Team and the Campbell Spartans Wrestling Club (Youth) 
Citywide 
 
Mayor Derek Norton recognized the Campbell Spartans Wrestling Club.   
    
Youth Team: 
Youth Team Head Coach – Sal Delrosa 
• Hina Anderson - State Champion – Middle School Girls 148 – 160 pounds 
division – Hammer Series Champion for Middle School Girls - 8th Grader at 
Campbell Middle School    
• 1st ever girls state champion for Campbell Spartans Wrestling Club 
• Wrestled on the Team Georgia (National) Middle School Girls Dual Team for 
national events. 
• Jackson Grantham – State Runner-up – 14U - 115-pound division – 8th Grader 
• Tetsu Anderson – State Qualifier- 10U – 61-pound division – 4th Grader at 
Green Acres Elementary School (1st at Ridgeland Qualifier) 
• Connor Martin – State Qualifier – 12U – 69-pound division – 6th Grader at 
Griffin Middle School (1st at Columbus Qualifier) 
  
High School Team: 
High School Head Coach - Rudy Armocida 
• BK Bass – GHSA State Qualifier – USA Wresting High Schools Girls State 
Champion at 148 to157 pound division – 100 win earner – Senior – 4.786 
GPA, attending UGA in the fall 
• Alethia Turner – GHSA State Qualifier – 130 pound division - Senior 
• Patrick Curry – GHSA State Qualifier – 165 Pound division – 100-win earner – 
Senior 
• Jamari McNabb – GHSA State Qualifier – 175 pound division – Senior 
• Sean Patrick – GHSA State Qualifier – 126 pound division - Senior 
• Oliver Oei – GHSA State Qualifier – 106 pound division – Sophomore 
• Colton Cranford – 100 win earner - Senior – 4.268 GPA, attending Clemson in 
the fall 
 
Russell Martin, Community Development Director and parent, stated he is honored to 
help out with this program. He thanked Mayor Norton, Mayro Pro Tem Gould, and 
Councilmember Welch personally for their support of this program.
