Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Over the past several years CDBG funds invested in the city have paid for numerous public improvements; and the City of Smyrna continues to be a subrecipient of the Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Effective July 9, 2025, the Subrecipient Agreement is amended to reflect the changes as noted. All other language, requirements and provisions of the original Subrecipient Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force. That amount is broken down as follows: Public Facilities and Administration and Planning: Increase by $78,968.23 RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of Amendment No.1 to the Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Subrecipient Agreement No: CD25-C25SA-A/CD25-C25S8-F to increase the award by $78,968.23 for a total amended PY2025 allocation of $267,057.83 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
