Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Parks & Recreation, as organizing department for the Juneteenth event for the City of Smyrna, is working with Special Blends Mobile Bartending as the alcohol sales entity for the Thursday, June 19, 2025 event. The event hours are 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with alcohol sales anticipated to take place during the established event open hours. Special Blends Mobile Bartending, upon approval, will be responsible for obtaining all municipal as well as State licensing for conducting alcohol sales at the City of Smyrna Juneteenth 2025 event. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Approve Special Blends Mobile Bartending permission to obtain licenses and permits for the purpose of providing beer, wine, liquor and mixed drinks sales at the City of Smyrna Juneteenth event on Thursday, June 19, 2025 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Village Green Park, under the direction of the City of Smyrna Parks & Recreation Department.
