A public hearing was called for items V26-038 and V26-039, and no one came forward in favor of or in opposition to these items. The public hearing was closed. V26-040 Public Hearing - Variance Request - V26-040 – Reduce the front setback from 35 feet to 32.3 feet - Land Lot 453 – 989 Oakview Drive – Miguelle Milo Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley Caitlin Crowe, Land Disturbance Services Coordinator, provided the following background on V26-040 and V26-041: The subject property previously received approval from the License and Variance Board in June 1976 to reduce the side setback from 10 feet to 4 feet for a carport on the western side of the property. The subject parcel is a 0.27-acre lot located on the north side of Oakview Drive. The subject parcel and all adjacent properties are zoned R-15 and are all occupied by single- family detached houses. The property is currently occupied by a one-story 1,754 square foot home with a basement, a 400 square foot detached carport, and a 200 square foot shed in the northeast corner of the property. The applicant is proposing to fully renovate the existing home, originally built in 1953. The applicant is proposing to remodel the main level and basement, as well as enclosing the existing exterior basement stairs to incorporate them into the interior structure of the house. A 160 square foot front porch will be constructed
