PARKS AND RECREATION College football fans joined Parks & Recreation on Saturday, October 18, for an exciting day filled with music (and plenty of dancing with the DJ), a sold-out food truck, delicious drinks, raffle prizes, t-shirt cannon fun, and best of all, both home teams bringing home wins! Don’t miss the next College Football Saturday on November 15. No registration is required; just bring your chairs, blankets, and team spirit for another fun day of friendly competition! COLLEGE FOOTBALL SATURDAY The Market Village was alive with excitement for Spooky Fest 2025 on Friday, October 17! Downtown Smyrna was decked out with festive decorations, inflatables, and the sounds of a DJ setting the mood as trick-or-treaters filled the streets in their amazing costumes. City staff handed out plenty of candy while families enjoyed an evening of Halloween fun, including a screening of Hotel Transylvania on the big screen. One of the evening’s highlights was the Pet Parade, featuring nearly 50 fourlegged family members showing off their creative costumes and big personalities as they “paraded” through the crowd.
