2. Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the October 6, 2025 Pre-Council Meeting held at A. Max
Bacon City Hall in the Admin Conference Room at 6:35 PM.
3. Review of Current M&C Agenda
PRE2025-034 Review of the October 6, 2025 Mayor and Council Meeting Notice and Agenda
Mayor Norton reviewed the October 6, 2025 Mayor and Council agenda. He asked about
the added agenda item. Jill Head, Deputy City Clerk, explained that after the resignation
of Bo Jones who was a permanent License and Variance Board member, it was
necessary to vote Mike L. Jones, City Administrator, in as a permanent board member to
make the board whole.
Councilmember Wilkinson asked about an item for No Parking signs on Pat Mell Place. Jill
Head, Deputy City Clerk, explained that it is on the October 20, 2025 Mayor and Council
agenda.
