The Work indicated by this RFI is outside of the current scope of the Work and constitutes a change. This CE is created for added blocking and cladding to terminate storefront/curtainwall to stacked stone veneer. This CE also includes scope from storefront shop drawing identifying an additional beauty bead of caulking outside of dry line assembly to provide finished condition between storefront and cladding. Also included is waterproofing of blocking and the cutting of jambs 3" back on each side. CE originates from 5/7 Envelope Coordination Meeting, in which Subcontractors gathered to discuss finish detail discrepancies for the building(s). RY then presented discrepancies in the 5/13 Envelope Coordination Meeting (with CROY , NELSON, and RY), in which the solution presented by NELSON in RFI #16-1 was confirmed. This change is necessary in order to get clean finish from stone veneer to storefront/curtainwall. The RFI response consists of zero (0) new / revised drawings and includes the additional Work described below: • Qty 75 lengths of "L" shape cladding • Qty 50 lengths of "flat" cladding • MATERIAL ONLY Fluid Applied Air/Water Barrier • Cutting jambs 3" back ea side • 2x8 PT Blocking • 1,700 LF Beauty Bead ***NOTE: Previously presented as PCO #019.*** Contract Documents: 1.
