Clara Hodges, Plan Reviewer, has seen the mitigation plan. She stated it is a standard method of treatment and has been sized correctly. A public hearing was called, and no one came forward in favor of or in opposition to this item. Board Member Andrea Worthy made a motion to approve V26-001; seconded by Board Member Eric Mohrmann. The motion to approve carried with the following vote: Aye: 3 – Chairperson Garland, Board Member Worthy, Board Member Mohrmann Nay: 0 – None Recuse: 0 – None L. V26-002 Public Hearing - Variance Request - V26-002 - Allow encroachment into the City's 75- foot impervious surface setback - Land Lot 458 - 1169 Queensgate Drive - Jason Abdo Ward 4 Councilmember - Charles 'Corkey' Welch Committee Member Worthy asked if fire retardant is required. Mrs. Crowe stated that when Chief Building Official reviewed this, the first thought was fire retardant might be required because it is closer than 5 feet to the property line. The neighboring property to the east, however, is an HOA property that has a stream running through the middle, so there is no likelihood of another home being built, so the requirement was waived.
