 D. CNV2025-004 Authorization to approve a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Smyrna to 
the properties of 2631 Brown Circle SE and 2651 Brown Circle SE two segments of 
land that parallel the rears of said properties that are based on the recorded 
subdivision plat which are that of an old road (McGriff Street), and authorize the Mayor 
to sign and execute all related documents.

 E. ATH2025-154 Approve the closing of the following streets for the Smyrna Parks and 
Recreation’s Spooky Festival: King Street from Stephens to Bank (note King is already

fountain from 2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025

Councilmember Travis Lindley – Huge thanks to city staff for a great event this past 
weekend. Showcased our community in a great way. Thanks to fellow council members 
and attendees for the back-to-back ward town halls. 
  
Councilmember Glenn Pickens – Thanks to staff for birthday celebration and those in 
attendance at the joint ward meeting yesterday.  
  
Councilmember Latonia P. Hines – Attended the Public Safety Appreciation luncheon. 
Thank you to staff for the birthday celebration. Announced that Rose Garden will hold their 
Fall Festival on October 18. 
  
Councilmember Charles Welch – Thanked staff for set up and clean up for the birthday 
celebration. Also, he mentioned that before the birthday celebration, the Smyrna Historical 
Society hosted events at the Reed House and Taylor Brawner. Hundreds of people came 
by which brings awareness to the great public facilities.
