Councilmember Susan Wilkinson – Thanks to staff for the work for the birthday 
celebration. 
  
Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Tim Gould – They had a very productive joint ward 
meeting yesterday. Great questions. This afternoon, they had a Traffic Calming meeting. 
He expressed appreciation for Mark Wolff and Eric Randall for their creative ways to 
ensure roads are safe and usable.  
  
Councilmember Rickey N. Oglesby, Jr. – Excited to announce the Trust of Public Land has 
started construction of the river park along Riverview Rd. He also had the honor of 
attending the awards banquet for the Public Safety Foundation by the Fire Department. If 
you would like to support Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, please attend Jazz under the 
Gazebo on November 1, from 7-10 PM. 
  
Mayor Derek Norton – This Thursday, from 6-9 PM, immediately following the 
homecoming parade, Support Smyrna will hold their 2nd annual gala. They are a non-profit 
that assists seniors, children, veterans, etc. in the community. 
  
Judge Tom Cauthorn – Stated it was a privilege and honor to be in service for Smyrna.

Mayor Derek Norton adjourned the October 6, 2025 Mayor and Council meeting at 8:00
