 H. ATH2026-075 Authorization to approve agreement with NetPlanner Systems, Inc. 
(3145 Northwoods Parkway, Suite 800, Peachtree Corners, GA 30071) for technology 
infrastructure installation under the state contract 99999-SPD0000172-012 (Integrated 
Security and Surveillance Products and Services) and 99999-SPD-SPD0000210-0012 
at the new City of Smyrna administrative office space located at 1088 Concord Road 
SE in an amount not to exceed $231,311.50 funded by 2022 SPLOST, and authorize 
the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.

This item was approved on the Consent Agenda. 
 
 J. ATH2026-087 Approval to close King Street between Bank Street and Powder Springs 
Street from June 11, 2026 through July 19, 2026 for the downtown event Cup Daze, 
celebrating the FIFA World Cup games to allow pedestrian traffic during peak hours of 
use at the Village Green Space.

Councilmember Glenn Pickens – Thanked Rebuilding Together Atlanta for another 
successful project. They worked on a resident’s yard work and house. They will be 
installing a chair lift soon. 
  
Councilmember Latonia P. Hines – Thanked the Smyrna Parks & Recreation 
Department for their great job for co-hosting with Cobb Travel and Tourism the World 
Cup Juggling event. She also said they have a lot of great Parks & Recreation 
merchandise. She thanked all the leaders who came out for the Cobb Municipal 
meeting. All of the police chiefs from all Cobb County cities were present and they 
discussed their collaboration with the FIFA World Cup events and the teen 
takeovers.  
  
Councilmember Charles Welch – He stated that he is hearing so many great things 
about the Smyrna downtown area. The athletics in Smyrna are remarkable. He 
expressed kudos to all involved.
