2. Call to Order
Chairperson Joel Powell called to order the May 11, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 6:01 PM.

A. Z26-101 Plat Approval - Allow subdivision of 3490 Pinetree Drive into two parcels within the R-
20 Zoning District - 1.01 acres - Land Lot 555 - 3490 Pinetree Drive - Sean Murphy
Ward 6 Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember - Tim Gould
Chairperson Powell asked if the lot split met all zoning stipulations. Joey Staubes, Planner
II, answered in the affirmative.
Commission Member Jeff Carter made a motion to approve item Z26-101; seconded by
Commission Member Jonathan Howard.
The motion to approve carried with the following vote:
Aye: 4 – Commission Member Howard, Commission Member Gordon-Evans,
Commission Member Carter, Commission Member Kolis
Nay: 1 – Commission Member Rice
Absent: 2 – Commission Member Twomey, Commission Member Bentley
