2. Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the February 2, 2026 Pre-Council Meeting held at A. Max
Bacon City Hall in the Admin Conference Room at 6:30 PM.
3. Review of Current M&C Agenda
PRE2026-002 Review of the February 2, 2026 Mayor and Council Meeting Notice and Agenda
Mayor Derek Norton reviewed the February 2, 2026 Mayor and Council agenda. He stated
that Councilmember Hines will read the Black History Month Proclamation from Milan,
Italy.
No further discussion took place.
4. Other Business / Staff Comment
Councilmember Oglesby – He had a town hall and thanked city staff who attended. He also
thanked everyone who checked on him. His hearing is returning, and he has a reconstructed ear
after several surgeries.
Councilmember Pickens – The Council has an opportunity to participate in a Rebuilding Together
Atlanta project. He will ask Christy to send out invites.
