Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the March 12, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting held at
A. Max Bacon City Hall in the HR Training Room at 6:03 PM.

A. COW2026-022 Review of the March 16, 2026 Mayor and Council Meeting Agenda
Z26-100: Joey Staubes, Planner II, provided the following background:
The applicant is requesting approval to subdivide two lots into three lots while retaining
the existing R-15 zoning category. The property was previously approved for a four-lot
subdivision with a side setback reduction from 10 ft. to 5 ft. and a lot width reduction from
85 ft. to 50 ft. The new subdivision request will allow three new single-family detached
homes to be built on three separate lots utilizing the variances previously granted in V20-
073. The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at the
March 9, 2026, meeting.
