Cobb Countywide.

Councilmember Rickey N. Oglesby Jr. shared his excitement for the Juneteenth Festival
on Friday. He also expressed concern about the weather, but he feels it will work out in
the end.

Councilmember Glenn Pickens mentioned someone wants to dedicate a park bench to
her daughter. He wondered if anything has moved forward with a policy about that. Mike
Jones stated that the draft version says that a dedication needs to be from someone or
about someone that has a connection to the City of Smyrna. Councilmember Wilkinson
suggested if the arboretum moves forward, that could be a place for these types of
dedications.

Mayor Norton mentioned that the 7U and 9U little league teams won their state
