Anna Talarico said a sculpture in Taylor Brawner Park is a recommendation within the Public Art Plan. Chairperson Oglesby asked if Robert Harrison considered a sculpture in Taylor Brawner Park as part of the ARTery. Committee Member Robert Harrison said yes, and that he is absolutely in favor of a sculpture in Taylor Brawner Park. Chairperson Oglesby asked if Carson Haynie could get some locations approved for sculptures in the park. Special Projects Manager Carson Haynie said she would and will bring that information to the next meeting. E. 2026-204 Traffic Box Project Location Selection Special Projects Manager Carson Haynie shared traffic box locations that have been approved by Engineering and Public Works. She informed the committee that their next task is to identify six locations for the upcoming traffic box project. The committee decided to approve the following locations: 1. Concord and Atkins Way 2. Concord and South Cobb 3. South Cobb and King Springs Road 4. South Cobb and Church Road 5. South Cobb and Windy Hill 6. Highland Parkway and Oakdale Road Unselected locations: 1. Village Parkway and Lake Park Drive 2. Windy Hill and Belmont 3. Atlanta Road and Creatwood Trail (School engagement was mentioned, and Ms. Haynie said to save any school engagement artwork projects for the next fiscal year since school will be out next week. Committee Member Burke Scott made a motion to approve the six selected traffic box locations; seconded by Committee Member Robert Harrison. The motion to approve carried with the following vote: Aye: 5 – Chairperson Oglesby, Committee Member Foote, Committee Member Harrison, Committee Member Quigley, Committee Member Scott Nay: 0 – None Absent: 2 – Committee Member Barnes, Committee Member Thomas 5.
