Mayor Derek Norton called to order the February 17, 2025 Pre-Council meeting held at A. Max
Bacon City Hall in the Admin Conference Room at 6:30 PM.

PRE2025-008 Review of the February 17, 2025 Mayor and Council Meeting Notice and
Agenda
Mayor Norton reviewed the February 17, 2025 Mayor and Council meeting agenda.
There was no discussion.
6. Other Business / Staff Comment
Discussion took place regarding the February 13, 2025 Town Hall meeting. Mayor Pro Tem
Gould mentioned that a neighbor’s house was struck by lightning, and the Smyrna Fire
Department responded. Many residents complimented the team. Councilmember Welch
