• Two facilities – North Cooper Lake Park and the Silver Comet Trail – are accessed 
using this route 
Existing Conditions:  
• North Cooper Lake Road is a two-lane road with pavement varying from 22’ to 26’ 
in width 
• Sidewalk along the eastern side of the road for the entire length of the road 
  
Proposed Improvements:  
• Add MUTCD standard R4-11 signs at key locations as well as adding “sharrow” 
pavement markings along the entire length of N Cooper Lake Road 
• Sharrows would be painted in both directions at a spacing of approximately 250’  
 
Committee Member / Mayor Pro Tem Tim Gould made a motion to approve item 2025-
351 to place sharrows as described; seconded by Committee Member / Councilmember 
Susan Wilkinson. 
 
The motion to approve carried with the following vote:
