SMYRNA HOSPITAL POSTCARD HISTORY
One of the newest acquisitions to the Smyrna Museum's permanent collection is this postcard
depicting Smyrna Hospital. The hospital was located on South Cobb Drive where the current
Emory at Smyrna complex is located. Nearby was also the site of the antebellum Alexander
Eaton House which was used by Union General Hood as his headquarters during the Civil War
actions of July 1864.
