October 20, 2025 6:30 PM City of Smyrna Mayor and Council Meeting 2800 King Street SE Admin Conference Room Page 2 of 2 Z25-007: This Community Development item is being tabled because the applicant needs to speak to the business association in that area. They are approximately 85% complete with those conversations. Z25-012: Councilmember Wilkinson stated that a resident was asking if the developers were going to add a landscape buffer. This will be asked of the applicant during the meeting. ATH2025-0169: City Attorney Scott Cochran explained that the contract cannot be signed yet because Georgia Power is amending an exhibit to show infrastructure, and all of the infrastructure has to be in the right-of-way. 4. Other Business / Staff Comment Councilmember Oglesby mentioned the Jazz Under the Gazebo event on November 2. There is an option now to purchase a ticket for a public safety officer. Councilmember Pickens said the Spooky Fest was very well attended and a great time for the kids. Councilmember Hines stated the No Kings Rally seemed a success. The Rose Garden had its Fall Festival which was more for the children. December 9, CMA will have a meeting and host a holiday party. Councilmember Wilkinson said she attended a meeting with Cobb County Commissioner Monique Sheffield and the Chateau Walk HOA. Concerns were discussed. 5. Executive Session (As Needed) 6.
