Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: The homeowners of properties located at 2631 and 2651 Brown Circle SE have requested the City execute a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Smyrna to the property owners for two segments of land behind said properties since the City has no use or plans of utilization for the old road segments. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works recommends approval of a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Smyrna to the properties of 2631 Brown Circle SE and 2651 Brown Circle SE two segments of land that parallel the rears of said properties that are based on the recorded subdivision plat which are that of an old road (McGriff Street), and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
