.Approval of a change order to the approved contract with Integrated Construction and 
Nobility Inc. for the Ward 7 Splash Pad to add a contingency line item in the amount of 
$120,000.00 for an increase from the original contract price of $2,361,808.88 to $2,481,808.88 
which allows the project team to maintain momentum and address issues as they 
arise, amend the 2022 SPLOST Splash Pad adopted project length budget to increase 
$120,000.00 and authorize the Mayor to sign any related documents.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Approval of Change Order #2 for River Line Splash Pad to include (1) a $32,000.00 credit for 
constructing auxiliary parking area on site utilizing excess material from the Splash Pad site; (2) a 
20,731.76 debit for 393 LF of Timberbarrier StreetGuard Rail materials, installation, and equipment 
rental to install a protective guard rail in newly established parking area, and (3) a $3,149.56 debit for 
Redi-Rock Wall upgrade to Piedmont Ledgestone. These changes take the original contract price from 
$2,361,808.88 to $2,369,504.84. Additionally, approval of a requested budget amendment to allow 
for 5% contingency ($120,000.00) to allow the project team to maintain momentum and address 
issues as they arise with the understanding that all change orders still require Council approval. And 
to authorize the Mayor to sign any related documents. 
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Parks and Rec and Finance recommend approval of a change order to the approved contract 
with Integrated Construction and Nobility Inc. for the Ward 7 Splash Pad to add a contingency 
line item in the amount of $120,000.00 for an increase from the original contract price of 
$2,361,808.88 to $2,481,808.88 which allows the project team to maintain momentum and 
address issues as they arise, amend the 2022 SPLOST Splash Pad adopted project length 
budget to increase $120,000.00 and authorize the Mayor to sign any related documents.
