Ward 3 Councilmember Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This project is to construct a storm drainage collection and conveyance system from the driveway at 1206 Church Street to the corner of Reed Street, tying in to the existing storm collection system in Reed Street. This will mitigate stormwater runoff issues leaving the right-of-way that have become apparent as we have experienced more intense stormwater events in recent past. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends the approval of the Church Street Drainage Improvement Project, subject to receiving a donation of storm water easements from The Village Oaks Homeowner's Association, approve the Settlement Agreement negotiated by GIRMA resolving Collier and Sterling v the City Of Smyrna and authorize the mayor to sign all related documents.
