Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the September 18, 2025 Committee of the Whole meeting
held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in the HR Training Room at 6:03 PM.
2. Staff M&C Agenda Items to Review
Eric Randall, Public Works Director, stated he received an email from the Alzheimer’s
Foundation of America asking if the city would illuminate city buildings November 3 a teal color in
recognition of “Light the World Teal,” an initiative that helps raise Alzheimer’s awareness. Mayor
Norton and the council members were all in agreement to light the buildings.
Deputy Chief Binicewicz stated that the items on the agenda to purchase new cars is something
they do as part of their vehicle replacements each year. Mayor Norton mentioned that Wade
Ford is not included because their prices are higher.
3. Formal Business and Presentations
A. COW2025-078 Campbell High School Education Committee Presentation – Tim Gould
Mayor Pro Tem Tim Gould said that Dr. Chheda was unable to attend tonight. Mayor Pro
Tem Gould presented in his place a program the foundation is sponsoring called C.A.P.S.
