Adoption of the millage rate will appear as an agenda item during the 7:00 PM Mayor and 
Council meeting on July 20, 2026.   
 
Mayor Norton opened Public Hearing #1 for the 2026 Millage Rate. 
 
Narayanan Subramanian, 5029 Duxford Drive, stated that even though the millage rate 
stays the same, the value of the home increases. Kristin Robinson, Deputy City 
Administrator / CFO, explained that as long as they filed a homestead exemption, their tax 
rate will not increase and is frozen at the value of their home at the time of filing the 
homestead exemption.  
 
Mayor Norton closed Public Hearing #1 for the 2026 Millage Rate.
