And they're also uh collecting donations for school supplies which they will be um giving them to their partners uh which are Norton Park Elementary and Griffin Middle School. And and it's supposed to be a lot of fun. And if you want to uh wander into Kroger and see what it's all about, the music and the hot dogs and chips and um and getting ready for school. With that, I'll yield. Thanks. Thank you, Mr. Gold. Thank you, Mr. Mayors. Uh just one one announcement. Campbell High School is having a cleanup day this Saturday, 800 am. They've worked really hard through the year and I really believe we're going to bring back some national gold again this year. I really believe that. Also, I want to uh thank everyone who has, you know, used patience as they travel through Camp Howland Road while they continue to uh stabilize their bridge uh for the civil comment trail and uh belt line connection. Looks like they're almost done. Uh I think the community will be excited about the improvements and to have access to both of those trails will be awesome for the for the city in general. Uh last but not least, it's been a little while since we've met. Uh I do want to say thank you to all those who supported the Junth Festival, our inaugural festival. It was a success. I believe that will that's actually taking it lightly uh for inaugural event and uh obviously well received by the community and the region as a whole and we look forward to next year uh it being on a Friday. Just putting that out there. Uh it's a federal holiday Friday. So, look forward to even a better event uh next year. With that, I yield. Mr. Mayors, thank you. Mr. Cochran, anything this evening, Miss Heather, Miss Jill, anything? All right. If there's no other business be brought before this body, we will say good night from the Jonqual City at 711 and have Mayor Mixon gabble us out. Good job.

6. Other Business / Staff Comment Mayor Pro Tem Gould: Swimply issues are becoming a problem as people are renting out their private swimming pools. In one instance there has already been problems with double parking and noise violations. Russell Martin, Community Development Director, stated they will be addressing these through a code enforcement avenue first. There were only two entries in Swimply for Smyrna, and they will continue to monitor it. Councilmember Welch: Wolfe Center rate increase – would like to compare revenue generated prior to the increase vs after the rate increase because people may not be renewing their memberships. Kristin Robinson, Deputy City Administrator / CFO, stated that those who were already members prior to the rate increase are grandfathered and will not have a rate increase. Councilmember Wilkinson stated that the Wolfe Center is a community amenity and the city should not be “competing” with private businesses. Mayor Norton asked that the current fees and new fees be sent to Mayor and Council and a communications plan be put together. Councilmember Welch also asked if there has been any follow up about the trash can concerns. He reminded all that he had suggested that there be a fee for the extra can for yard debris. Ms. Robinson said she will speak to Paul Osburn, Deputy Public Works Director, about this. Councilmember Hines: Rose Garden and the Pride Festivals were great. Councilmember Lindley: Attended the virtual presentation from MKSK about the redevelopment of the Baptist Church land and saw first sets of options. Mayor Norton said he has been very impressed with MKSK. Councilmember Lindley would like to arrange a trip with Mayor and Council, the Church Redevelopment Advisory Committee, and maybe the Planning and Zoning Commission, to downtown Alpharetta for ideas. Councilmember Oglesby: The Beltline / Silver Comet Trail construction / stabilization should be done soon. He also said the inaugural Juneteenth event was a huge success, and he continues to get positive feedback about it. He is looking forward to next year’s event which will be on a Friday. Councilmember Wilkinson: She mentioned the virtual call with MKSK, and she stated she really enjoyed the presentation and looks forward to being able to view it more closely. 7. What this search can tell you

Coverage is incomplete. This collection tracks 118 meetings. 39 have searchable transcripts and 72 have searchable minutes; a meeting may have both. 10 currently have neither. A missing passage is not evidence that a topic was never discussed.

Speech and summaries stay distinct. Transcript passages preserve the available transcript text. Minutes are labeled as summaries, not spoken quotations. Speaker identities are shown only where the source or documented attribution supports them; an unattributed speaker remains unattributed.

Relevance does not establish a connection. Topic search uses meaning and words to help you locate passages. Read adjacent passages, follow the source and inspect any agenda context before drawing a conclusion about an official’s position or a decision.
