Special Called Meeting of the Mayor and Council - Millage Rate Public Hearing #2
Unidentified voice 2
And how many years is it that we've not raised the millage rate? 18 years and not raising the millage rate, and we're not raising it again. We're keeping it the same, which means that, uh, no. Smyrna is getting a tax increase from the city of Smymyrna, so just to be clear on that with everybody, uh, is there any discussion from council before we open up the public hearing? So happy to be here this morning. I don't see anybody out there, but we'll open up this public hearing if there's anybody who wants to speak for or against, please come forward. Being done, we'll close the public hearing. We have nobody here for public comment. So if there's no other business be brought before this body, we will adjourn from the Jonquil City at 8:32 and possibly the quickest meeting ever.
