ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
The pavement width on Davis Drive is approximately 18 feet.  Parked vehicles on Davis Drive between 
Hawthorne Avenue and Pierce Avenue impede two-way traffic flow and restrict the visibility of 
vehicles traveling on and turning onto Davis Drive.  
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
The Engineering Department recommends installing “No Parking” signs along Davis Drive between 
Hawthorne Avenue and Pierce Avenue, as shown on the attached map.
