Columbus, OH, 43215) for Public Art Consulting Services for a term of one (1) year, effective April 23, 
2026, and continuing through April 22, 2027, with compensation of services provided not exceeding 
$25,000.00 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
This City of Smyrna entered into an agreement with Designing Local, LTD, on April 22, 2024, pursuant 
to RFP 24-029 – Public Art Consulting Services. The agreement was extended for an additional year, 
expiring on April 22, 2026. The parties wish to extend the term of the agreement for an additional one 
(1) year, to expire on April 22, 2027. The total compensation for services provided during the 
extension term shall not exceed $25,000.00.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Administration staff recommends authorization to extend the contract with Designing Local, LTD (20 
E. Broad Street, Suite 1010, Columbus, OH, 43215) for Public Art Consulting Services for a term of one 
(1) year, effective April 23, 2026, and continuing through April 22, 2027 with compensation of services 
provided not exceeding $25,000.00 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related 
documents.
