to include the closure of King St. from Bank St. to Stephens St. in front of City Hall.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
The Vineyard Wine Market, in partnership with the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, is requesting an 
amendment to the previously approved road closure for the Jazz Under the Gazebo private event on 
Saturday, November 7, 2026. Due to the demolition of the Market Village gazebo, the live music stage 
has been relocated to the front steps of City Hall. As a result, the event organizers are requesting the 
closure of King St. in front of City Hall, from Bank St. to Stephens St., in addition to the previously 
approved closure of W. Spring St. See attached barricade map. All other previously approved requests 
remain unchanged. 
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval of the amendment to allow for the closure of King Street from Bank 
Street to Stephens Street for the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation and Vineyard Wine Market Jazz 
Under the Gazebo event on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
