Authorization to approve the City of Smyrna acquiring eighty-four (84) square feet of land or a 12’ x 7’ 
Water Easement from Campbell High School located at 2620 Ward Street in order for the City of 
Smyrna to be able to access and maintain its water meter and infrastructure that is located off the 
right-of-way and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all documents.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
This request is necessary due to the existing infrastructure on the property that never had proper 
easements granted during the installation of the infrastructure. This will allow the City of Smyrna to 
be able to access and maintain its water meter and necessary infrastructure that is located off the 
right-of-way.
 
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Public Works recommends approval of the proposed request for the City of Smyrna to be able to 
service and maintain its infrastructure
