ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
Recently the Water Distribution / Sewer / Utility Billing Director Bo Jones announced her resignation 
from the City effective the October 2, 2025. As a result, his position on the License and Variance 
Board became vacant. 
City Administrator Mike L. Jones will serve as a regular Boardmember effective October 6, 2025. 
Other regular members are Chairperson / Community Services Administrator Richard Garland and 
Economic Development Director Andrea Worthy. 
 
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff recommends approval of  the Appointment of Mike L. Jones, P.E. / City Administrator, to serve a 
regular License and Variance Board member alongside Mr. Richard Garland and Ms. Andrea Worthy 
effective October 6, 2025.
