receptionist to part-time Social Media / Public Relations Specialist and authorize the 
Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
The department has a need for dedicated staff to provide promotions and social 
media. We have used this receptionist position for this need previously and as it is 
currently open, we would like to reclassify.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Parks and Recreation and HR recommend authorization requesting a Parks and 
Recreation job re-classification from part time-receptionist to part-time Social Media / 
Public Relations Specialist and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related 
documents.
