Mayor Derek Norton called to order the February 3, 2025 Mayor and 
Council meeting held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at

Mayor Derek Norton wished his wife Luara Norton a happy birthday 
today. He also announced the Town Hall meeting that will take place on 
Thursday at 6:30 PM on February 13, 2025 at A. Max Bacon City Hall in 
Council Chambers. The topics will include city project updates like 
the Tolleson Pool and land acquisitions.

Councilmember Latonia P. Hines announced her pride and honor in recognizing the
