Authorization to approve a one-year contract renewal with Russell Landscape, LLC. (4300 Woodward 
Way, Sugar Hill, GA 30518) for the City of Smyrna’s annual landscaping contract (RFP 23-017) for a 
term beginning July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 in an amount of $1,343,183.64 paid from General Funds 
Facilities, and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all documents.

ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
This is based on the contractual agreement (RFP 23-017) between the City of Smyrna and Russell 
Landscaping LLC. This agreement will allow continued landscaping maintenance of all city facilities, 
rights-of-ways, and all city parks located within the City of Smyrna limits of maintenance 
responsibility.
 
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Public Works, Parks and Recreation, and Purchasing recommend approval of a one-year contract 
renewal with Russell Landscape, LLC. (4300 Woodward Way, Sugar Hill, GA 30518) for the City of 
Smyrna’s annual landscaping contract (RFP 23-017) for a term beginning July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 
in an amount of $1,343,183.64 paid from General Funds Facilities, and authorize the Mayor to sign 
and execute all documents.
