ISSUE AND BACKGROUND:
This is a request based on the need for city staff to install the newly purchased traffic 
bollards around the green space area in three different locations. Two locations along 
King Street and one location on Village Green Circle. The requested length of the 
closure is based on the required design specifications from the manufacturer.
RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION:
Public Works requests authorization to approve the request to close King Street at 
Bank Street to Powder Springs Street from May 11 to May 22, 2026, for the 
installation of newly purchased traffic bollards around the green space area at three 
locations, and to authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
