SIXTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT  
Between THE CITY OF SMYRNA, GEORGIA 
And 
REBUILDING TOGETHER ATLANTA, INC. 
 
 
THIS Sixth Amendment to the Agreement entered the ___ day of__________ 2026 by and between The 
City of Smyrna, Georgia, a municipal corporation of the State of Georgia, hereinafter referred to as “City”; 
and Rebuilding Together Atlanta , Inc., a  Corporation of Fulton County, State of Georgia , hereinafter 
referred to as the “Contractor;” all collectively referred to as the “parties;” 
 
WHEREAS, the City has received Program Year PY 2026 Community Development Block Grant funds, 
hereinafter referred to as “CDBG”,  as a Subrecipient  of the Cobb County CDBG Program for the 
implementation of activities determined to be CDBG -eligible by Cobb County, hereinafter referred to as 
“County;” and 
 
WHEREAS, the City  has entered into an agreement with the Contractor for the administration and 
implementation of a Home Repair Grant Program to assist lower income homeowners by providing grant 
funding for housing rehabilitation projects; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor desire to appropriate additional PY 202 6 CDBG Funds to the 
Home Repair Program in the amount of $125,000, which will include $100,000 in grant funding and 
$25,000 in administrative fees; and 
 
WHEREAS, the  City and the  Contractor desire to amend the terms of the Agreement to extend the 
termination date from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2027. 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto covenant and agree as follows: 
 
1. Funding – Funding for the program, specified on Page 1 of the Agreement, will be increased by 
$125,000 to include $100,000 in grant funding and $25,000 in administrative fees.  
 
2. Effective Date and Termination Date - The effective date of this Agreement is the date specified 
on Page 1 of the Agreement.  The termination date of the Agreement is extended to June 30, 2027.
