are actually looking into something called “Transport Capable Unit.” This would allow the 
Fire Department, in a really critical moment, to transport patients to the hospital. Metro 
(Atlanta Ambulance Service) business is growing, but their staffing is weak. Cobb County 
is likely moving to Transport Capable which puts Metro on notice that they need better 
response times, etc.
