I. CEREMONIAL MATTERS

2.  Call to Order 
 
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the January 21, 2025 Mayor and Council meeting held at 
A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 7:00 PM. 
 
3.  Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

5.  Mayoral Report 
 
Mayor Norton extended his thanks to staff for their response to the snow last week 
and to those who are braving the cold the last few days.  
  
 He also announced a citywide town hall meeting on February 13, 2025 at 6:30 PM 
in Council Chambers. The Mayor and Council had a mini-retreat to discuss the 
different projects going on in the city from the purchase of the baptist church to the
