Mayor Derek Norton called to order the December 9, 2024 Pre-Council meeting held at A. Max 
Bacon City Hall in the Admin Conference Room at 6:31 PM. 
 
3. Review of Current M&C Agenda 
 
PRE2024-035 Review of the December 9, 2024 Mayor and Council Meeting Notice and 
Agenda  
 
Mayor Derek Norton reviewed the December 9, 2024 Mayor and Council agenda. 
  
BCA2024-045: Rose Diggs is being appointed to the Smyrna Tree Board by Councilmember Hines. 
She is also Smyrna’s Citizen of the Year for 2024. She is has fostered hundreds of children and is an 
asset to the community. 
  
ATH2024-206: Kristin Robinson, Deputy City Adm./Finance Director, listed the following ARPA 
projects:  
• Community Center Chairs 
• City Hall Chairs 
• Filed netting at Brinkley Park and Chuck Camp Park 
• Traffic Signal Intersection Camera replacements
