The Smyrna Youth Council will host a canned food drive booth
at this year’s Home for the Holidays event on December 2! Help
support families in need by donating items such as canned
green beans, canned corn, stuffing, and macaroni and cheese.
Please bring your contributions to the Smyrna Youth Council
booth during the event. All donations will benefit the Smyrna
Public Safety Foundation’s “Shop With a Hero” program.

We are proud to officially welcome our newest graduates Officers Purdy, Calloway, Cargyle, and
Byron to the Smyrna Police Department. These officers were sworn in by Chief Zgonc and will
now begin the field training process with one of our experienced Field Training Officers. This
hands-on training will equip them with the skills and confidence needed to serve our community
with excellence. Congratulations to each of them on this achievement!
