also toured the Smyrna Recycling Center last week before
participating in a litter cleanup along South Cobb Drive.
Students collected a total of 13 pounds of litter, including 3
pounds of recyclable material, making a meaningful impact
on the local community and environment.
RECYCLING CENTER TOUR & LITTER CLEANUP
Tickets to the Smyrna Garden Tour on May 2 are available for
purchase online! Ticket holders will enjoy access to five of Smyrna’s
most beautiful private gardens, as well as a tea room experience at
the Reed House. This self-guided tour helps support the mission of
Keep Smyrna Beautiful, funding community litter cleanups, habitat
rehabilitation, pollinator gardens, environmental education, and
more. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Paper tickets will
be available by the end of March at the Smyrna Recycling Center,
Floral Creations, and Vickery Hardware.

Over the weekend, Keep Smyrna Beautiful volunteers,
including a monthly Community Cleanup group, a group
from Smyrna Pride, and a family volunteering
independently, collected 240 pounds of litter from
South Cobb Drive, Village Parkway, and Riverview Road.
KEEPING SMYRNA BEAUTIFUL
Keep Smyrna Beautiful was honored to be supported
by two of the vendors at last weekend’s Kids Smyrna
Market. Ophelia and Azalea, along with their parents,
refurbished used stuffed animals to sell at the market
and also shared information about Keep Smyrna
Beautiful programs with attendees.
