CAREER DAY AT ARGYLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Officer Hester from Smyrna Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Unit
visited Argyle Elementary to show students some of the tools he uses to keep our roadways safe.
He demonstrated his LIDAR device and gave a live demonstration as cars passed by. Students
were thrilled to see how officers monitor speed in real time, making for an exciting and
interactive experience!
