MAKING FRIENDS AT SMYRNA LIBRARY
The Friends of Smyrna Library hosted a small fundraiser
at the library on Thursday, February 5. Partnering with
V. Hand Stitching, FOSL held an embroidery
workshop in which participants embellished two hand
towels with literary designs. The workshop sold out, and
V. Hand Stitching donated $100.00 of the proceeds to
FOSL!
FRIENDS OF SMYRNA LIBRARY FUNDRAISER
Library Associate Jennifer Moore recently completed
scanning two antique scrapbooks for the Smyrna
History Museum. The museum was gifted several
scrapbooks from the Smyrna Social Club, a women’s
organization founded in 1908. The scrapbooks contain a
treasure trove of local history and genealogy.
