Recently, Keep Smyrna Beautiful Board
members have begun laying the ground
work to establish KSB's second Pollinator
Pocket in River Line Park. The board
members put down cardboard on the site of
the garden and continued combatting the
invasive wisteria near the site. This weekend,
volunteers will place river rock, soil, and
mulch.
POLLINATOR POCKET AT RIVER LINE
Keep Smyrna Beautiful will host a ceremonial tree
planting to celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, February
20, from 12:00 to 12:30 pm just outside of the Smyrna
Community Garden located in North Cooper Lake
Park. This event is open to the public, and seedlings
will be available while supplies last. A selection of
redbud and fruit trees will be planted at this event,
don’t miss out!
