On Tuesday, April 14, the Smyrna Citizens Academy gathered for its fifth session, featuring
presentations from the city’s Economic Development, Community Development, and Information
Technology departments. Participants learned about each department’s daily functions, staff
roles, goals, and other notable updates. Following each presentation, attendees had the
opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion to learn more. Special thanks to Andrea
Worthy, Rusty Martin, and Dat Luu for sharing their time and expertise with the group.
