FRONTLINE MOBILE HEALTH
2025 marks the first year Smyrna Fire
Department is using Frontline Mobile Health
for the department’s annual physicals. These
advanced diagnostic exams help ensure our
firefighters stay as healthy as possible and
include screenings for cancers commonly
seen in the fire service.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
On September 27, the Smyrna Fire Department held its annual Fire Awards Banquet, hosted by
the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation. Taking place at Hotel Indigo in Vinings, the event
recognized outstanding members of the department and honored a local Smyrna business
owner for their dedication and contributions to various projects across the fire stations.
Firefighter of the Year: Captain Ronald Sadowski
Rookie of the Year: Firefighter Abigail Bachman
Commitment to Excellence: Captain Tim Grubaugh
Impact Award: Bryan LaBar, Max Hamilton, Abigail Bachman, Perry McClung, and Josh Paul
Knockdown Award: Bryan Peisel, Travis Rockwell, and Samyr Santos
Chief’s Award: Bryant Clark
