CRIME ANALYST KATIE MCARTHUR EARNS AWARD
Our crime analyst, Katie McArthur, is the driving
force behind our intelligence-led policing model,
DDACTS (Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and
Traffic Safety). In just over a year, Katie has
made a tremendous impact on our organization
by streamlining and connecting multiple
databases to generate real-time, actionable
reports. She also contributed as part of a team
of crime analysts and law enforcement task
force members who played a critical role in the
success of the MLB All-Star Game. For her
outstanding contributions to our department
and community, Katie was recognized by CCLEA
and received an Award of Recognition.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
FIELD TRAINING OFFICER COURSE
Congratulations to the 26 students from multiple
surrounding agencies who successfully completed
the 40-hour Field Training Officer (FTO) course;
especially our very own Officer Hester! Serving as
an FTO is one of the most rewarding roles in law
enforcement, providing mentorship, guidance, and
leadership to shape the next generation of peace
