On Tuesday, Keep Smyrna Beautiful launched work at a new habitat rehabilitation site with
support from the Smyrna Fire Department. Field Training Officer Justin Tucker and fire recruits
helped clear invasive, nonnative plants including privet, kudzu, wisteria, and multiflora rose from
Brinkley Park near the walking path. Thanks to their efforts, two trees were freed from being
completely overtaken by vines!
